Description
A great opportunity to hunt big whitetail in Illinois! This is a semi-guided hunt with private land access across 5000 acres. The outfitter will set up stands in areas with trail cams to put hunters in the best spot for best opportunity at mature trophy bucks. Outfitter will give you a map and show an album of deer after observing them with trial cameras all year. There is a 130" minimum and shooting a smaller buck will result in a $500.00 penalty. Outfitter will do a lot of pre-scouting and use trail cameras over the year to help identify the bucks on the property and will confirm with all hunters on what bucks to look for. Lodging is included with a nice comfortable cabin or trailer near the property. Option to add two additional days for a 5 day hunt. A semi-guided hunt will include the outfitter drop off and pick up from the stand and help with game retrieval, quartering and skinning of animal. Option for archery, muzzleloader, or a shotgun hunt. Archery tags are OTC, but muzzleloader and shotgun are draw. A doe may be added to the hunt if desired, depending on availability for a trophy fee.

130" B&C are a minimum for the hunt. Bucks that are shot below will result in a $500 penalty fee.

December 2-5. Muzzleloader: December 10-21. This pricing is for a 3 day Late Season/Early Season archery hunt. Option to change dates, and add more days.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Outfitter will arrange for local lodging that is nearby the hunting areas. These cabins also offer RV hook ups for anyone wanting to bring a trailer. Outfitter will also supply trailers for smaller hunting parties.

If DIY hunt is selected, outfitter will give local of the set up stand and hunter is responsible to get to their stand. Light hiking will be required to get to the stand. If semi-guided hunt is selected, then outfitter will supply field transportation to and from the stand each day.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final flight destination city is St. Louis, Missouri. Hunter will be required to get a rental car to get to their hotel and to and from the hunting grounds. If semi-guided option is selected, then field transportation will be provided.

Description
Depending on the season booked will determine what should be packed for sitting in the stands. Mid-November through mid-December temperatures range from 30-40 during the daytime with lows ranging in the teens and 20s (below freezing). If January archery hunt is booked temperatures range in the low teen to high 20s during the day so heavy winter gear is recommended. DIY hunters will be supplied with a stand, but can also bring their own. All hunters must bring personal stand climbing equipment. Semi-guided hunts will supply field transportation and retrieval of game. Full gear list to be provided if requested when booked.
