Description

A great opportunity to hunt 50,000 private acres for giant mule deer bucks. This is a 1:1 fully guided 5 day hunt. This is a spot and stalk hunt where you will chase bucks in large rolling hills full of sage and draws. Lodging is provided in a nice, clean and comfortable ranch house. Meals are cooked by your outfitter and worth the hunt on its own! Management on this ranch is like non-other. Expect to see large deer and lots of them! This hunt includes a land-owner voucher IF NOT DRAWN. Draw is nearly 100% for this hunt.

Classification details:

Hunters will be targeting managment deer. These are older bucks and bucks with bad genetics. Hunter can expect 3x3, 2x3, or 3X4 bucks. *HUNTER WILL BE APPLIED FOR THIS HUNT. MOST WILL DRAW. IF HUNTER DOES NOT DRAW, OUTFITTER MAY HAVE SOME VOUCHERS AVAILABLE.

Weapons description:

Hunter must be proficient up to 400 yards with shooting sticks.

Refund Policy:

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Hunters will hunt in the early morning looking for bucks moving, break for lunch, and then head back out in the evening to get bucks as they travel the landscape. Management on this ranch is like non-other. Expect to see large deer and lots of them! This is a great hunt for family.

Hunter will stay in a clean and comfortable house for the hunt. Private rooms available. Cell service will be provided at the lodge. There is no WIFI available.

Hunter should be prepared to hike for this hunt during the stalk in pursuit of bucks. Lots of roads and access to the property. Hunters will glass ridges and plan to make stalks on deer.

Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

Fly to Denver rent a car. Fly to Colorado Springs, Outfitter will pick them up. All field transportation will be provided on this hunt.

Description

This hunt takes place the last few days of October into early November. This is a spot and stalk hunt. Hunter should be prepared with moderate weather hunting clothing and be ready for weather changes. This ranch is in SE Colorado so weather can be more mild than in the mountains, but prepare for it all! Field transportation is provided. Expect to use the road system throughout the ranch and then as bucks are glassed, planning a stalk to close the distance. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
