Description

Southeast Iowa, once a well kept secret is rapidly becoming recognized as one of the premiere trophy whitetail deer hunting areas anywhere. These hunts are best described as semi-guided. They have tree stands positioned. They have the ranch house, cabin, and new lodge. Hunters are responsible for meals, either cooking in the cabins or eating in local restaurants. This isn’t a high volume commercial operation, because we believe that large numbers of hunters and quality hunting just don’t mix. No more than 4 hunters will be in a camp at a time. Trophy whitetails especially, simply won’t take that kind of pressure. These are 6 day hunts in zone 5. Gun hunters can draw just about every other year. Historically 0-1 point is needed to draw this tag. At least 4 points needed to draw for Archery. Non-hunters are a possibility with no extra charge, please inquire if interested. If necessary, extra days can be added to the hunt for no extra charge.
