Description
Alberta whitetail hunting is some of the finest free range deer hunting available in North America, with deer numbers on the rise and the age class of the deer abundant its one of Canada's top producing provinces. Northern Alberta, along the farmland fringe is considered one of the best areas that an out of country hunter (non-resident) can come hunting, the abundant food source from the agriculture gives them all the nutrition they need to sustain a healthy population. There is no telling what a hunter might see while hunting the vast wilderness Alberta has to offer! Limited Tag Trophy Mule Deer Hunt. This is a fully guided, 6 day hunt, but additional days are an option for an additional charge upon request. Hunters can expect to fly into Grande Prairie the day before the hunt and depart the day after the hunt ends.

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
Pre- scouted trophy mule deer hunt. You will fly into Grand Prairie and the outfitter will pick you up and transport you to the Peace River Hunting Area. Hunter will spend the day before spotting deer and preparing for an opening day stalk. Outfitter hunts Muley's in the all of Alberta, Canada. Where the rolling grain fields meet the forest fringe, creating some the best ground for the Mule deer to produce large amounts of antler. The 4000 square miles of this area encompasses consists of 75% private land and 25% government land. Resident pressure is minimal on Mule deer as Alberta residents must draw a license before they are able to hunt in this location. On these mule deer hunts you can expect to be in a box blind or with your guide glassing agriculture land for mature Alberta mule deer. Outfitter will utilize what is best for the spot, sometimes being lock-on stands or ladder stands. Generally it will be in a comfortable box blind if the guide believes it is best to stand hunt. Approximately 50% of the Mule deer hunting is done from the blind while the other 50% consists of glassing fields from the pickup truck, then stalking in for the shot, both ways have proven successful. This is a fully guided 6 day hunt. 200" deer are seen every year, but are rare and not guaranteed. Those calibre of deer are a difficult to find anywhere in the world. Every hunter should expect a shot opportunity at a mature mule deer 170"+ during their hunt with us.

Hunter will be hunting from a stand during this hunt, but hunter should be prepared for some light hiking if a buck is spotted from the road.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
The outfitter provides airport pick up. When traveling here your destination is the Grande Prairie Airport. All hunters will need to fly in the day before, preferably morning to allow for hunter to shoot rifles and get settled in camp. We handle all transportation to and from Grande Prairie, the hunting area is approximately 2 hours north of Grande Prairie airport.

Description
You will need a fall archery spot and stalk hunting gear list appropriate for mid fall weather. All of our mule deer hunts are minimum 6 full hunting days. Longer trips for the mule deer enthusiasts/freaks can be booked upon request. Clients can expect to fly into Grande Prairie the day before the hunt and depart the day after the hunt ends. Hunt will either be conducted from a stand or spot and stalk in agricultural fields.
