Description
This is a once in a lifetime hunt for a large trophy bull in Utah. This is a 6 day fully guided 2:1 hunt. This hunt will provide 2 guides per hunter. Guides will pre-scout the area for big bulls and have some located before the hunter shows up to camp. This hunt includes a landowner voucher and is valid in Utah. Hunter will hunt the West Desert Deep Creek limited elk unit. This is a unit wide tag so hunter has access to both 6,000+ acres of private land along with public land to find the bull of the dreams. This hunt will take place in September so you will be face to face with screaming bulls! The smallest bull taken on the property was 340". Option to add a cow elk, bring a non-hunter, or have airport pick up and drop off for an additional charge. Only 2 hunts will be conducted each year.

Two different tags are available for this hunt. Archery only tag which allows the hunter to hunt any dates from Sept 1-30.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Hunter should be prepared to hike up to 7,000 feet in pursuit of animals. Weather will play a big factor in where animals are located. Bulls will be located with spotting scope and then a stalk will be planned. This hunt has 2 different seasons and can be arranged for either an archery only hunt or an any weapons hunt. Archery season can take place any time September 1-30. There are only 4 archery tags awarded from the state of Utah for this season so pressure will be extremely low on public land. This is a large unit, but there will be more hunters on public land. The second season dates allow for any method of take. The smallest bull taken on the property was 340". Option to add a cow elk, bring a non-hunter, or have airport pick up and drop off for an additional charge.

Elevation range for the area is 4,500-10,000 feet. Hunter should be prepared for heavy hiking for this hunt in pursuit of big bulls. On average hunters hike up to 7000' feet on this hunt. Archery hunts will be more physically demanding.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination city is Salt Lake City, Utah. Airport pick up/drop off can be arranged for $200.00. All field transportation will be provided.

Description
This is a September rut hunt in an arid climate. Hunter should be prepared with a good layer system as the days can get warm but the early mornings and evenings can be cold. Durable and comfortable hiking boots are a must. Outfitter will provide a wall tent with a stove to keep warm along with a cot. Hunter will need to bring their own sleeping bag. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
