Description
This is a fully guided 6 day 1:2 (1 hunter, 2 guides) elk hunt in a Premier Nevada Elk unit. Hunter can choose to chase these trophy bulls with a Rifle, Bow, or Muzzleloader. Top notch Outfitter with a long record of success on trophy bulls. Hunter will be supplied with 2 expert guides. Archery hunt is conducted August 10-September 9. Muzzleloader hunt is September 10-October 4. Rifle hunt is October 5-October 31. There is also a late season available. This hunt runs Nov 5-30. This outfitter can accommodate and customize the hunt to the hunter's needs. Option to add additional hunting days or bring a non-hunter.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Hunter can expect a mix of fresh foods and backpacking meals.

Hunter should expect heavy hiking. The unit topography will determine how strenuous the hiking may be. Selected season dates (determined by the draw) will also determine where animals are located and may demand more hiking or less depending on weather and time of year.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination city is Durango, Colorado. Outfitter can pick up hunter from the airport for a fee. Hunter can also rent a car or drive to the disclosed camp location.

Description
Depending on the season selected, hunter should pack and prepare according to the time of year. Layering system and durable hiking boots are a must. Your guides will bring all the experience you need to find a trophy animal on your trophy hunt. Outfitter will supply food and lodging (tent) or hunter may choose to provide their own and only pay the daily guide rate. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
