Description
Winter wolf hunts are conducted on snow machines December through March when weather is cold and snow can be deep. This can be a challenging hunt physically and mentally with amazing rewards! Baits are set in areas frequented by wolves and hunters are set up in heated portable blinds. Wolves are smart and elusive, so shot opportunities sometimes happen quickly. Later hunts also utilize calling techniques to improve odds during the peak mating season. Fully guided hunts are based out of a comfortable lodge with warm cabins, hot showers and home cooked meals. This is a 6 day hunt.

Description
There is nothing quite like the feeling you get when you are in the north country, darkness is setting in and you hear the howl of a Gray Wolf, or an entire pack after it has made a kill. It is a sound like no other and is often described as making the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Those who have heard it are truly privileged. We offer Winter Wolf Hunts over baits and are highly successful! Our wolf hunts are conducted using snow machines December through March, the weather can be very cold and the snow can be deep. This is a challenging hunt that will test you in many ways but the rewards are amazing. Baits are placed in areas where wolves are known to frequent and clients are set up in heated portable blinds. Once again this is a waiting game and patients are required. Wolves are very smart and elusive, normally if you see one its a fleeting glimpse and there is little or no time for a shot. With the baits we have a huge advantage and your chance of taking one of these huge northern wolves is very good! This a 6 day hunt with options for a non-hunter.
