Description
Hunters have come from all over the world to enjoy the South Dakota pheasant and prairie grouse hunting experience. This is a fully guided 3 day hunt featuring a professional staff, beautiful South Dakota prairie, a wealth of birds, both pheasant and grouse when in season, highly trained gundogs, breakfast, plus a great mid-day lunch. And, that’s just for starts – the wing shooting opportunities we provide are legendary, the prairie grasses in fall are awe inspiring, and the camaraderie hunters experience provides memories that last a lifetime. Hunter will have access to roughly 100,000 acres on privately owned land, reserved exclusively for our guests. This outfitter has access to so many acres of high quality land that it is impossible to over hunt our properties. Groups of no more than 3 can be accommodated for this hunt.

Hunters have a daily limit of 3 birds. Can be a combination of prairie chicken and pheasant. But possession is only 3 birds total.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Hunter will be responsible for their own lodging for this hunt. There are plenty of options in the closest town of Pierre, South Dakota.

Light snacks and meals will be provided for the hunt. Dinners will be client provided. There are plenty of options available for dinner in town.

Some light hiking will be required for this hunt. Once dogs point and find birds, hunter must dismount UTV to shoot at birds.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination city is Pierre, South Dakota. Hunter may rent a car, or be picked up and dropped off daily to hunt. All field transportation will be provided by horses. Some horse experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Description
This hunt will take place in the last two weeks of September. Weather can be variable this time of year, so be prepared with layers to protect you against the wind and potential snow. All field transportation will be on horseback and some light hiking will be required to shoot birds, so durable hiking/riding boots are a must. Meals and lodging are client provided for this hunt. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
