Description
Get ready for a great hunt in beautiful Western Nebraska. In the last ten years the goose hunting in the Nebraska panhandle has absolutely exploded. The number of birds wintering in the area is simply amazing! Greater Canada Geese are the predominant birds, but the area also winters a number of the lessers as well as thousands of mallards. The property covers a 20 mile stretch along the North Platte River, which is the main roosting area for waterfowl during the cold winter months. With several different ground level pits to choose from located in food sources as well as resting fields that have proven to be outstanding, this will be a hunt to remember. This adventure includes two days of fully guided Canada Goose hunting, warm breakfast in the blinds, a cleaning shed, and a beautiful lodge to stay in. All of the pit blinds are ground level, heated, accommodate up to 7 persons, and provide excellent concealment. Coffee, snacks and drinks included. Decoys provided. Hunter is allowed a daily limit of 5 birds, and may possess up to 3 limits legally. Option to add a third day of hunting for additional price. Additional day must be added on at time of booking. Large lesser, with some snows and speckles mixed in can be found at property, but expect mainly large lessers. Non-hunter may join at $300 per person per day. Lodging and guided hunt included. Client provided meals. Great eating options are just around the corner.

Description
The day will begin by meeting your guide at the Lodge approximately 1 hour before legal shooting time depending on where we are going to hunt for the day. Coffee will be provided. Following coffee, you and the guides will head out to the blinds to set up decoys and wait for the birds to arrive. After setting up decoys with your guide, you will be treated to delicious breakfast burritos. All of the blinds are ground level, heated 4 to 8 man pit blinds that provide the best concealment possible. The decoy spreads consist of Big Foot full bodies, GHG full bodies, and the GHG oversized shells, many of which are fully flocked.
