Description
Experienced guides in units where spring bears can be hunted every year. Early spring snowmobile hunts pursuing bears just leaving their dens with unblemished coats and claws. This is a 1:1 fully guided 10 day hunt conducted on horseback, ATV & hiking. This hunt will allow you to glass vast amounts of country locating your trophy bear. These interior grizzlies come in all color phases. Some of the most unique bears in all of Alaska. They are golden, silver tipped, yellow, brown and white. Patience is required until you are rewarded when the action begins!! Option to shoot a wolf if seen with no trophy fee in both spring and fall season. Options to add black bear during the fall hunt. Wolverine may also be taken during a fall hunt with no trophy fee.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Patience is required until you are rewarded when the action begins!! This is a 10 day, full guided 1:1 hunt. Wolves can be shot for no trophy fee. Fall hunt will offer black bear add ons for a trophy fee. Fall hunts wolverines can also be taken with no trophy fee. It is also legal to bait in this area of Alaska, so baiting can be an option if hunter desires.

Hunter will stay in comfortable cabin with wood burning stone and electricity. Bunkbeds will be 1-2 hunters per cabin. Spike camp may be utilized. Hunter will then stay in a mountaineering 4 season 2 person tent on the mountain. *More photos coming soon

Homestyle cooking-meat and potatoes. A field kitchen will be utilized if in spike camp-mix of freeze dried foods with some fresh foods.

Hunter can expect to do some moderate hiking on this hunt. 1-5 miles per day to find quality bears.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination city for Spring hunts is Fairbanks, Alaska. Outfitter will pick up hunter and drive roughly 120 miles south to camp. Final destination city for fall hunts is Healy, Alaska. Hunter can take either a shuttle or railroad to Healy. All transportation will be provided during this hunt. Horseback will be used when appropriate. Snowmobiles will be used in spring hunts.

Description
Spring can be a very cold weather hunt. Hunter should prepare for all weather conditions. Cabins and tents will stay warm. Rain and wind gear are a must. Durable hunting clothing for cold weather with a layering system is recommended. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
