Description
This is a great opportunity to hunt Rio Turkey in California! This is a fully guided 2 day hunt for one Tom. Additional Toms may be added for a trophy fee as the license is good for 3 birds. This hunt will be across several thousand acres of a private ranch. All meals and lodging are client provided. This hunt can arranged for either shotgun or bow. All shotgun ammunition must be steel. Lead is not allowed in California. Outfitter can supply a shotgun if hunter does not wish to travel with one. All meals and lodging will be client provided, but there are many options in the area. Hunter may also add a hog to the hunt or bring a non-hunter. This hunt can be arranged for either the spring or fall. The outfitter suggests a spring hunt as Toms are strutting and they are more fun to call in.

Hunt can be arranged for either a spring or fall hunt. Spring is the best time to hunt. Spring dates are best in the last two weeks of April. Fall hunts are the week of Thanksgiving. License cost is around $150.00. Upland game bird stamp is also required. *AVAILABLE FOR 2024

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

If hunter does not want to travel with their shotgun, they can use an outfitter provided shotgun. All shotgun ammunition must be steel, as lead is illegal in the state of California. This hunt allows for one tom, but the license is good for 3 birds and more can be added for trophy fees if desired. Option to add a hog hunt for a trophy fee. Outfitter will provide all blinds and calling to give the hunter the best opportunities. This hunt can be either in the spring or fall, but outfitter suggests spring, as Tom's will be strutting and easy to call in. All meals and lodging are client provided, but there are plenty of options in the area.

This is a traditional blind and spot and stalk hunt. Outfitter will be calling birds and setting up opportunities for the hunter.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final flight destination is Oakland, California. Outfitter can either arrange to pick up the client or client may choose to rent a vehicle. Outfitters camp is only 45 minutes from the airport. Hotels are located 3-5 miles from the ranch that you will be hunting.

Description
Hunter should be prepared for a blind hunt or light spot and stalk. Weather can be cooler in the early mornings and evenings so a jacket is recommended. Outfitter will supply blinds and calls. All field transportation is provided. If hunter does not want to travel or bring their own shotgun, outfitter will supply one. Ammunition must be steel as lead is outlawed in California. Full gear list to be provided if requested when booked.
