Description
Kamchatka, the region in Russian north-east, is well-known destination for trophy hunters for a long time. In large part, it is a wild country still, which gives you a chance to harvest great trophies of snow sheep, brown bear and moose. Chukotka moose, the largest moose in Asia, inhabit the valley of Kamchatka river and vicinities. These giant animals were brought from Chukotka mainland forty years ago. Now the population numbers are more than 3000 animals, and annual harvest is about 130-150 of them. The average antlers’ spread is 60-62 inches, but you can expect even 75+ inches trophy. 2 species combo hunts available if brown bear is desired to add to the hunt. This must be booked in advance. This is a 10 day 1:1 fully guided hunt. This hunt must be booked with groups of 4. There will be two different camps set up. 2 hunters per camp with 1:1 guiding.

September 10 – October 10, November 20 - December 10. Kamchatka brown bear hunt can be added from the 1st of September. If brown bear is desired, hunter must book in advance. *FULL FOR 2022 *4 SPOTS AVAILABLE FOR 2023 *OPEN FOR 2024. SMALL DEPOSIT WILL BE NEEDED, BUT PRICE IS NOT YET SET FOR 2024.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

The average antlers’ spread is 60-62 inches, but hunter can expect even 75+ inches trophy HUNT SCHEDULE: Day 1 – arrival to Moscow, overnight. Day 2-3 – flight to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, transfer to the camp. Day 4-10 – 7-day hunt. Day 11 – transfer to Petropavlovsk, overnight. Day 12 – flight to Moscow, overnight. Day 13 – flight home.This is spot-and-stalk with the moose call, backpack hunt on foot and horseback during the rut. In later season, the outfitter will use snowmobiles for transportation around the area. When the fresh track is found, skis will be used to make a final stalk. Hunter will arrive to Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow, where the outfitter will meet and help with custom formalities. Next day hunter will fly to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It is 9-hour non-stop flight. The outfitter will transfer the hunter to the camp by van, helicopter, all-terrain vehicle or snowmobiles, depending on the hunting area and season.

This is spot-and-stalk with the moose call, backpack hunt on foot and horseback during the rut. In later season, hunter will use snowmobiles for transportation around the area. When the fresh track is found, hunters will use skis to make a final stalk. Hunter should be prepared for moderate to heavy hiking to make the final stalk. Better physical condition will provide better shot opportunity.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
You will arrive to Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow, where the outfitter will meet and help hunter with custom formalities. Next day hunter will fly to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It is 9-hour non-stop flight. Hunter will then transfer to the camp by van, helicopter, all-terrain vehicle or snowmobiles, depending on the hunting area and season

Description
Kamchatka Peninsula has a short, mostly cool summer. Cold waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Okhotsk Sea significantly affect. In September and October daytime temperatures in the valley are 40-50F (5-100C), and 20-30F (-5-0C) during the night, with morning frosts, frequent rain and snow. November and December there is a real snowy winter, with temperatures as low, as -20F (-25C). Hunter should be prepared for various weather during this hunt. Layering systems and thermal base layers are a must. What this hunt includes: Airport meet&greet in Moscow airport; accompanying of our representative; accommodation and meals during the hunt; guide and staff services; trophy fee; trophy field care; veterinary certificates. Extra costs: invitation papers and gun import/export permit ($300), or gun rental fee; visa; airfare to/from Kamchatka; helicopter transfer to/from the camp, if needed; hotel and meal before/after hunt; personal expenses; overweight baggage; taxidermy service and trophy shipment; tips. Full gear list to be provided if requested when booked.
