Description
A great hunt for a Rocky Mountain Elk on private land in New Mexico. This is a 1:1 fully guided 5-day hunt. Additional days can be added for a daily rate. This is a 16.000-18,000-acre ranch. Landowner vouchers are included in the hunt price, but hunter will still need to purchase their New Mexico hunting license, elk and deer licenses. These are purchased with your RBO membership concierge service (hunter paid) and will reflect the selected season dates.

Taxes and licenses not included in the hunt price. An annual game hunting license (appx. $65) and habitat stamp (appx. $10) are required in addition to the elk permit. Private land only elk permits are about $535. An application fee of about $15 and an OTC hunt fee of about $9 will also apply at the time of purchase. Internet vendor fees (appx. $1) may also apply. If purchasing a deer permit in addition as a combo hunt, the deer permit cost is about $250. Carcass tags WILL BE MAILED within 10-14 working days from the time of processing unless applicant specifies interest in an e-tagging option. Harvest reporting for regulated big game species will apply regardless of harvest success. *BOOKED FOR 2023 *AVAILABLE FOR 2024

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
A great opportunity to hunt Rocky Mountain Elk in New Mexico with a guaranteed tag on private land! This hunt is 1:1 guided with all meals and lodging provided on site. This hunt is 5 days but additional days can be added for a daily rate. Hunts may not exceed 7 days. These hunts will take place late October-early November. Hunter must be prepared for moderate hiking, although this outfitter can accommodate for those less physically able. Non-hunters are welcome for a fee.

Hunter will stay in a clean and comfortable cabin for this hunt. Bedding will be provided. Several cabins on the property. WIFI available at the cabins. Cell service is hit or miss.

Moderate to heavy hiking. Can accommodate anyone. For guys that cannot hike, outfitter will provide a blind on water holes. More physically able provides better shot opportunity.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final flight destination is Alamosa, Colorado. Outfitter can pick up and drop off hunters from this airport. Camp is roughly 2 hours from the airport. Hunter may also fly into Taos, Santa Fe, or Albuquerque, New Mexico. If hunter chooses to fly to these airports then they must rent a car and provide their own transportation. Closest city to camp is Costilla, New Mexico.

Description
Depending on the the time of year booked, hunter should be prepared for moderate to cold weather hunting. Mornings and evenings may be cooler. Hunter will hunt each day from the lodge. Outfitter will provide meals and all field transportation. Gear list to be provided if requested when booked.
