Description
Timber wolf is the ultimate predator hunt. For these timber wolf hunts the outfitter uses bait piles, spot and stalk, and calling. At this time of the year there will be snow so hunters will travel by truck, snowmobile, or quads while hunting. Alberta timber wolf hunts can be very exciting with an excellent opportunity to take more than one wolf. The timber wolf color variance is great from salt and pepper to white and jet black. Mature wolves from this area have skulls that can measure in the 17" to 18″ range and can weigh well over 100 lbs. Timber Wolf is an ultimate predator trophy. Imagine calling in a coyote from up to a mile out, watching him until he is within 50 yards or less, hair bristling, looking for supper. It’s a rush! The hides are thick and the fur is in perfect prime condition. The color this time of year is usually a light silver or pale beige color, and they are the largest coyotes in Canada. Take advantage of these coyote hunting expertise. These guides have several years of calling under their belts, and they’re prepared to bring the coyotes right into the hunter. Whether it’s fall or winter, this outfitter has techniques designed for the conditions. Currently in Alberta, there is no limit for wolves and coyotes. This season runs from November 1st to March 30th. This is 6 day fully guided hunt. This hunt must be booked in parties of at least 2 hunters.

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Hunters will be up before daybreak to give plenty of hunting time. Outfitter will provide a nice continental breakfast before heading out. Hunters can expect a long day with lots of travel. Lunch will be served in the field with a bag lunch, drinks and snacks. For baited hunts, outfitter will use blinds and heaters. When hunters return from the hunt, they can wash up and relax while enjoying a home-cooked meal. It’s a great opportunity to share hunting stories or talk about the day.

Hunter should be prepared for light hiking for this hunt. Timber wolf hunts will be conducted over baits and coyote hunts will utilize call stands. Transportation will be provided via ATV, truck, and snowmobile to get to desired hunt spots.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final flight destination city is Peace River, Alberta. Outfitter will pick up and drop off hunters. All field transportation is provided.

Description
Hunters should be prepared for some cooler weather for this hunt. Winter weather can be very cold. Thermal base layers and a good layering system are a must. Outfitter will provide all field transportation in the form or ATV, truck, or snowmobile. Hunter should be prepared to spend all day in the field in pursuit of trophies. Outfitter will provide airport pick up and drop off from the Peace River, Alberta airport. Full gear list to be provided if requested when booked.
