Mule Deer hunting during the rut in Montana may be one of the most exhilarating hunts out there. Whether you are hunting with archery equipment or a gun, this outfitter uses a wide variety of tactics to get the hunter close to their trophy. We also will use spot and stalking for archery and gun hunts during the day. Evening hunts, especially archery hunts, Outfitter will often uses whitetail tactics through placement of tree stands near food plots and travel corridors. By far, most professional hunters will tell you that the toughest trophy to collect with archery equipment is a mature Muley buck. Hunter will experience several stalks per day on P&Y and B&C class animals. These mule deer gun hunts average bucks in the 20-24 inch range. The historical success rate on this hunt is 100%. This is a 2:1 fully guided 5 day hunt on 150,000 acre private ranch. Hunter may also shoot upland birds and coyote with no additional charge on the hunt.

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Home cooked, home-style meals provided at the Ranch house. Come back from a long day of hunting and enjoy some meat and potatoes. If camp becomes mobile, you may expect to have more mobile food items from a field kitchen.

Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Hunter will fly into the Billings, Montana airport. Hunter will be required to rent a car and drive to meet the outfitter in Miles City. Airport shuttle service may be arranged for an additional fee. Please inquire when booking.

Western Hunting Rifle gear list. Spot and Stalk hunting tactics will be used. Layering systems are a must. The lodging varies from hunt and area to area so that hunter can find the biggest buck. Hunter should be prepared for some colder weather and some snow possibly during this hunt. Pack moderate to warm hunting clothing and boots. Full gear list will be provided by the outfitter when booked.
