Description
This is a great hunt for anyone looking to hunt big elk in the Rockies of Alberta. This is a 7 day 1:1 hunt. This is a horseback hunt in the backcountry, but also prepare for a spot and stalk hunt on foot. Basecamp will be a wall tent with a wood stove and a generator. You can expect to see large bulls scoring 300-350" Boone & Crockett. Hunter also has options to shoot up to 20 wolves and 20 coyotes with no extra charge. If wolf is shot, CITES permit will be required for transport.

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
This is a great horseback backcountry hunt in the Rockies of Alberta. Opportunity of a life time going after big bulls averaging 300-350" B&C. This is a 7 day 1:1 hunt. Hunter will be on horseback and do moderate hiking. Hunter will stay at basecamp in a wall tent with a stove and generator. Fresh food will be cooked in camp. Hunter will also have the opportunity to add a mule deer buck to the hunt for additional costs. Experience the backcountry in some Alberta's beautiful mountains chasing big bulls. Option to shoots wolves and coyotes with no extra charge.

Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Hunter will fly into their final destination city of either Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta. Hunter will be responsible for a hotel the night before and after hunt in final destination city. Outfitter will pick up hunter from their hotel the day after their arrival for the hunt.

Description
Outfitter will provide wall tent and food. Hunter must be prepared to ride horses up to 2-3 miles a day and also hike in steep rocky country as they spot and stalk their bull. This hunt takes place in September and October and weather may be variable. Hunter should be prepared for warm to cold weather. Layering systems recommended.
