Description
A great opportunity to hunt a wild and fair chase bison in Alaska! This is a 1:1 fully guided 10 day hunt. This is a draw only unit, so you must put into the draw for this once in a lifetime hunt. Our staff at RBO would be glad to help you apply for this adventure. Hunter will stay in a nice cabin or wall tent depending on the movements of the herd. There is a large number of plains bison in this unit and so opportunity to shoot a big bull are plentiful. Option to add a black bear, with a trophy fee. Wolves can be shot with no fee.

Hunter must purchase hunting liciense (~$160) and can put in up to 6 times in one year during the draw period for more chances at $10/ a chance. Non-refundable from ADFG.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
A great opportunity to hunt plains bison in beautiful Alaska. In the mid 1960's, 38 plains bison were introduced into the Farewell area. The herd grew rapidly, and a huntable population was achieved by 1972. Currently, the herd is over 500 animals. The state of Alaska currently allows for 20 tags for the fall hunting season which runs from August 22 through October 10. This outfit has taken many clients who have drawn and taken record book bulls. This is draw only tag for a once in a life time hunt. This is a 1:1 fully guided 10 day hunt. Hunter will stay in a comfortable cabin or wall tent and all meals are provided. Options to add a black bear to this hunt with a trophy fee. This is an elite camp in Alaska with a great area and opportunity for a once in a life time trophy!

All food consists of fresh meats and vegetables. Breakfast and dinner are well balanced home cooked meals. Lunch is typically a sack lunch consisting of a sandwich, chips, fruit and snacks.

There is a lot of land to hunt on, so be prepared to hike. You'll have a cabin/lodge to stay at making it so you won't have to carry lots of wait with you while you're hiking in backcountry Alaska.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Large off road vehicles/ATV's will be utilized during the hunt to expand the hunt area and help cut down the distance of stalks.

This season runs the end of August into September. Hunter should be be prepared for long days in the field in some inclement weather. Comfortable hiking boots and layering systems are a must. Full list to be provided by the outfitter upon booking.
