Description
Saskatchewan is home to monster black bears! Very large bears in high densities in the area. The area in which this outfitter operates boasts a high ratio of off color bears ranging from blonde to chocolate. These hunts are conducted from tree stands overtop of feeding stations. All terrain vehicles are used as the principal means of transporting hunters to their stands. Hunter may choose to hunt from ground blinds and outfitter is pleased to provide them as well. Outfitter can also accommodate archery hunters. The bear hunts take place in May and the first part of June each year.

Licenses included in the hunt cost. The license will be waiting at lodge when hunters arrive. Hunter will need to supply their HAL number-hunting number for registration. Outfitter can help with that. All taxes included in the hunt cost. Open for Spring 2024.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

The area in which this outfitter operates boasts a high ratio of off color bears ranging from blonde to chocolate. These hunts are conducted from tree stands overtop of feeding stations. All terrain vehicles are used as the principal means of transporting hunters to their stands. Hunter may choose to hunt from ground blinds and outfitter is pleased to provide them as well. Outfitter can also accommodate archery hunters. The bear hunts take place in May and the first part of June each year. These hunts will be afternoon hunts. Breakfast provided in the morning and evening. Hunter will get into the stands around 2 in the afternoon and sit until dark. This is a 5 day hunt.

This lodge has 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, log beds and furniture throughout, barnwood sliding doors, 80” flat screen TV, bar area, high speed internet, cell phone booster, hardwood and ceramic floors throughout the lodge. The Lodge is on one level and has 3,500 square feet of everything you need to make your stay a pleasurable one.

Outfitter will be able to drive you to your stand or use ATVS or side x sides. Very little walking/hiking is required for this hunt.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
If driving, 13 hour drive. Fly in Saskatoon, SAS. Vehicle rentals. 4 WD vehicles. It is roughly $25/day to rent a vehicle and roughly a 2 hour drive to lodge.
