If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
Hunt the Muledeer and Elk rich area of North-Eastern Utah on this 5 day hunt for Mountain Lion. This area is a major wintering area for deer and elk and a large population of Mountain Lions exists. Predator management is a necessary tool to keep Lion numbers in check in this area. Heavy travel, searching for fresh cougar tracks, moving from place to place in covered UTV’s with tracks, is the main hunting style. Terrain varies and consists of sage brush covered hills and valleys to aspen pockets and big timber. Your guide knows the country well and will put you in the best situation to tree your cat. . This is big country and walking will be required in most instances. Terrain varies from easy to steep and rugged. Success rates are in the 90% range and many trophy Cats are taken regularly. This is a first class hunt with an outfitter who has been in business for many years. First class lodging and food are included on this hunt.

Fully cooked meals are prepared by an in house cook. Drinks and snacks are provided and you won’t ever go hungry! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily. In some cases hunters will eat lunch in the field.
