Description
The bighorn sheep is one of the most sought-after trophy hunts in North America, and for this once in a lifetime adventure this outfitter offers access to terrain within Cody Country that is second to none. The price listed below includes a personal guide and a camp cook: too often clients or guides are concerned about the chores awaiting at their hunting camp – and as a consequence they either leave too late or return too early and thereby miss the opportunity to reach the right positions at the right time. The goal is that clients harvest trophies that meet or exceed their expectations while experiencing an escapade that stays with them for decades. These areas take max points to draw. Outfitter will also guide governors tags and auction winners.

Description
This is a 10 day 1:1 Bighorn sheep hunt. Since 1998 this outfit has guided over 157 sheep trophy hunts, and we have obtained a success rate of 100% in most years. The average age of the rams was 9.5 years, and the average score was in the mid-to-high 160’s. This outfit strives to harvest great trophies – not just any ram. They are dedicated, and we will never encourage a client to shoot simply to take a shot. Instead, they will work to harvest a ram that excites the hunter. They have built their business on the success and satisfaction of our clients – and our track-record of acquiring great rams is based on our superior skillset. This is a wilderness horseback hunt. This outfit specializes in hunting areas 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. These are the areas where they spend their time hunting shed antlers and guiding pack trips in the spring and in the summer. This also overlaps the areas where they guide for trophy hunts for mountain lion, deer, elk, and sheep in the fall and in the winter. Areas 1 – 5 have the reputation as some of the most rugged, yet rewarding, hunting terrains in North America. Learning where the sheep live, how they move, and how to reach them, requires patience and years of experience that is perfected through mistakes and blunders. Thanks to many of the latter, combined with our work-ethic, we maintain a current knowledge base of the natural changes that occur in that tricky terrain. These sheep guides are dedicated professionals who are committed to hunting with an in-depth knowledge of these sheep areas. This outfit is proud of their guides, and have handpicked them for their work-ethic, backcountry skills, pleasing personalities, and their sincere desire to harvest trophies.
