Description
Imagine hunting prime western Nebraska Sandhills for that buck of a lifetime. Spend four days amidst herds of mule deer in the heat of the November rut. A 2:1 guide ratio is standard but you can request your own personal guide for an additional fee. Spot and stalk is the preferred method of hunting, but ground blinds can also be utilized for your convenience. The scenic Sandhills along the wide-open meadows are a hunter's paradise. With over 30,000 acres of privately owned prime hunting ground and the goal is to give you a hunting experience that can't be matched.

In the beautiful northwest part of Nebraska, Deer Meadows offers a variety of hunts for your hunting experience.The scenic Sandhills along the wide-open meadows are a hunter's paradise. We hunt on only privately owned prime hunting ground and the goal is to give you a hunting experience that can't be matched. Back at camp, comfortable ranch style lodge doesn't have a big screen or a crackling fireplace but it does offer home cooked meals, a hot shower, a soft bed, and WIFI. Being a family owned and operated business our hospitality is second to none.

Hunter should be prepared for some moderate hiking. Vehicles will be used to navigate 2 tracks, but this is spot and stalk hunt. Hunter must be prepared to hike up-to 2 miles per day.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Closest airports to fly into are Rapid City, SD which is 3 hours or Denver, CO (DIA) which is 4 1/2 hours. Directions to the hunting locations will be provided upon booking. We don't offer airport pickup.

Hunting the rut can produce some moderate to cold weather. Hunter should bring colder weather hunting clothing-layering systems recommended. Outfitter will provide all bedding and 3 meals a day.
